Microcoin SPThe Microcoin SP is a stylish, space saving coin acceptor, delivering a tailored solution for short profile, front entry applications, where space and cost savings demand minimisation. At 155mm and 115mm in height respectively, the SP can be fitted to two traditionally dimensioned faceplates, which boast unique reject actions and secure fastening techniques. The Microcoin SP is a global product, with the ability to work with international currencies and any application which requires its unique features, such as vending machines, kiddie rides, redemption machines. The Microcoin SP is an advanced electronic multi-coin acceptor. It offers features which take the functionality of the device beyond coin acceptance and into the field of integrated applications. The Microcoin SP can act as a timer unit and also a single vend product through the use of a small external relay activation controller PCB called a VAL366. This combination of Microcoin SP and VAL366 allows the acceptance of both coins and notes to drive a relay which in turn controls a host application. Timer Features The Microcoin SP can be configured as a countdown timer, with an optional 4 digit LED or LCD display. The display can be set to count down in hours and minutes or minutes and seconds. A last minute warning is also available as is an external input to receive pulses from a GBA bank note reader. The time period is programmable through the Microcoin SP's on-board programming facility. Vending Features As a vending unit, the Microcoin SP can be set to accumulate cash inputs to a preprogrammed value and then provide a relay output via the VAL366. The vend amount can be shown on an optional 4 digit LCD or LED display as a countup or countdown feature. The vend amount is programmable through the Microcoin SP's on-board programming facility and an external input to receive pulses from a GBA bank note reader is also standard. |
